Tivoli Hotel
Pescara,
Italy.

August 15th, 1993

Dear Ahmed,
Well, this is my second week in Italy, it is a wonderful place. The beaches here are nice and the weather is good. I'm staying in a hotel near a beautiful beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has a restaurant, but I never eat there. The food is terrible. I often have my meals at Valentine, a small restaurant in the town centre. The food is delicious and the owners are nice. I was in Venice yesterday. The city was crowded with tourists. I'm going to Rome next weekend. I want to visit the Colosseum. Clothes are cheap in Italy. I'm buying coats for the children and a leather jacket for me. Is there anything that you want me to buy you from here?

Love,
Margaret
