Jane was doing her shopping in the supermarket. She had a long list of things to buy. At the food section, she noticed a man in front of her. He was about twenty and was wearing a black jacket that looked a little too big for him...
He was holding a bottle in his hand and looking at the other shoppers. "What's he up to?" Jane thought. The drinks section was on the other side of the supermarket. Why is he holding that bottle?
She saw the man suddenly put the bottle inside hid jacket and walk away quietly. But he did not see her. She decided to follow him just to see what he was up to.
A few minutes later, Jane saw the man take some batteries from another shelf. They, too, went into his jacket pocket. It was clear the wan was a shoplifter.
